Thoughts from Unitarians

For me, being part of the Unitarian community means connecting and growing alongside people who stand up for what matters, even if that means going against the grain. As Unitarians, we are proud of our history of dissent, and share an inherent determination to act conscientiously. Our commitment to peace and justice is vital in today’s world.

A Unitarian community really is a space for those of all faiths and none. As an agnostic, I’m comfortable with uncertainty, but I’ve observed people of no faith regularly sidelined by aspects of religious culture. A Sunday service can be a time when not having all the answers isn’t a weakness but a strength. I’ve found something genuinely meaningful in a community that makes space for different perspectives and embraces a rich tapestry of beliefs and outlooks.
